I had my first lecture today, so I thought it would be good to share with ya'll what it is I am studying and what I do all day. The lecture phase is a 12 week program; focasing on a different topic every week. This week we are learning about hearing and obeying God's voice. We will have guest speakers come in about lecture on these topics. Today we disscussed what it means to hear God's vioce and what are the different ways in which he talks to us. We will be going more in depth as time goes on. As for what I do all day, we have a set schedule for the week. Some days are different than others, but a general schedule is time with God and worship in the morning, followed by a lecture until lunch. After lunch we have work duties for a few hours and then depending on the day we will have more lectures, small groups, bible study, and 1:1 time, which is where we have the chance to sit down with our leaders to talk about how we are spiritually. That is a very ruff look at my schedule all day, but it does give an idea of what I do while I am here. I am very excited about what God has in store for me while I am here.
