Bolivia is wonderful!! I love it here, especially the weather!! It feels like spring/summer at home!! I feel right at home. I am learning so much here. Bolivia is the poorest country in South America. This has really taught me what being poor means and that I am very very rich. The average bolivian´s yearly income is $100. That is crazy.
I am working at a boys home with middle school and high school aged boys from the streets. They are amazing guys, it is hard to picture them living on the streets. Most of them have gone through some crazy hard stuff. My heart breaks when I hear about how much they have been through at such a long age. They are so much fun to be around and just hang out with. They are tring to teach me how to speak spanish, which is very hard! We will be with them for about 5 weeks in total, which is most of our time here. We realy have a chance to get to know the guys and build relationshios with them.
The other 3 weeks here will be split up between helping out with some local churches and going into the jusngle to help the tribes buill wells. Right now, they don´t have any clean water, so hopefully building wells will help with that. I am really enjoying it here; the lord is really doing a lot. I really appreciate your continued prayers! I look foward to seeing everyone in less than two months!!!

It's time!!!
I am starting my journey for Bolivia tomorrow morning at 4am. I have to spend a day in London, picking up my visa. I could really use some prayer on this to make sure that everything goes according to plan!! We leave the airport in London at noon on Wednesday and fly to Miami, where we have a 6 hour layover. Our next flight leaves Miami at 11pm. We arrive in Bolivia at 9:30am the Thursday morning. Needless to say with all that travel and time difference, we will all be exhausted!! We will have a few days of orientation before starting work, which will hopefully give us all some time to get rested. We do have a set schedule, but its complicated, so i will tell a bit of it. We will be spending most of our time in the girls and boys homes working with the street kids. Also, we will take a week and go into the tribes and help to build wells and much more!!
I am so excited to finally be going. I think that this will be such an amazing opportunity for me. I am nervous though, but in a good if that makes any sense. I am ready to go and see all of the things that God has planned for me. I really want to take these few months and just focus on the Lord and not let anything else worry me too much. All of this being said, I probably won't be able to contact any of you as much or update this blog quite as often, but I will try my best. I miss everyone and I am praying for ya'll!! I can't wait to come home and tell you about everything that has happened!!
